Thanks for checking out my course. I'm an author, course creator, teacher, online group facilitator, and a Certified Music Practitioner (CMP).
I fell in love with the flute many years ago at a bookstore in Colorado where R. Carlos Nakai's Canyon Trilogy CD was playing.
Years later, a friend had some flutes and encouraged me to play. I tried it out, with gentle guidance, and never looked back. I loved the sound of the instrument and I wanted to do everything I could to play it as beautifully as I could.
After taking lessons and courses online, attending workshops, and spending time exploring this instrument, I felt I was ready to start teaching workshops. I wrote and designed the first edition of the book, had copies made at a local copy shop, and started teaching locally.
Fast forward a few years... I published my book, Learn to Play the Native American Style Flute, in 2014 on Amazon.
